Court Experience

Many of the original court records relating to the trial of Hilda Blake have never been transferred to the Archives of Manitoba. However, the records it does have in its custody support the chain of events. These records include the bullet removed from the victim, witness testimony at the preliminary trial, the general form charging Blake with murder, the statement of the accused, and Justice A.C. Killam’s notes on the case.
