Governor and Committee correspondence outwards,

Sir,
I am directed by the Governor and Committee to acknowledge your letter of the 19th instant, with inclosure [sic] from your son William, and I am in reply to acquaint you that his Services will not be required this Season, but that his name will be put down in the list of applicants.
