Funding to support improvements in physical infrastructure and capital items, example purchase of research equipment to help build the research and innovation capacity in Manitoba.

Eligible Applicants

  • Primary producers,
  • Producer organizations,
  • Processors,
  • Processor organizations,
  • Other industry organizations,
  • Research bodies,
  • Retailers,
  • Indigenous Government/Indigenous individuals, businesses, communities, and organizations, other Indigenous groups undertaking agricultural initiatives
  • Municipal Government,
  • Industry service providers

Eligible Activities

Capacity building, including capital equipment. Capital equipment $10,000 or greater will only be considered as an eligible expense under the capacity building funding stream.

Project Timeline

Up to three years.

Cost Share Funding

50:50 no cap.
