June 5th Tuesday Wind N.E. weather cloudy. After breakfast sent David Harcus, John Fowles, William Duncan, John Kendalls and three Indians with the Boat. Many off to Capuscow to bring every thing home from there. Linklater preparing to go to Moose. Morrison repaired the Albany River Boat assisted occasionally by G. Daniel. In the evening G. Daniel, Morrison, and Copland with the Boys ploughed up some of the back Garden with the two oxen. Mr Sinclair took his passage in the Boat sent to Chickney and Capuscow.

6th Wednesday Wind S.E. Blowing and raining mostly all day. Mr Kennedy C. Factor arrived from Moose Factory in a small canoe with two men viz G. McKay and James Johnstone. Morrison, Copland, Linklater and five Indians haul’d the Seine at Yarrows Creek, but caught only 12 Fish…

9th Saturday Wind variable. In the morning at 8 Oclock Mr Alexander Kennedy Junior, William Linklater and five Indians took their departure for Moose Factory, the former goes to assist in the Office at that place and the rest are to return with a supply of a few articles of Trade that are absolutely required to enable the Indians to pass the summer, the ammunition particularly having run short which they could not well do without. Johnstone and McKay with three Boys procuring Firewood. A Cow was slaughtered this evening.
