Military Memorial Conservation Grant

The province has invested $2 million for the creation of an endowment fund to ensure existing military memorials are conserved and maintained for future generations. This new initiative was announced May 8th. The primary intent for this new grant program is supporting conservation of existing physical structures such as monuments, cenotaphs, sculptures, plaques and cairns dedicated to the memory of Manitobans who served, and who sacrificed their lives in defense of freedom and democracy.

The deadline for applications is February 15 of each year.  Enquiries can be directed to or (204) 945-2118.
