School Tax Rebate for Farm Properties

The School Tax Rebate provided a 50% rebate on school taxes for residential and farm properties, and a 10% rebate on school taxes for other properties. In the 2024 tax year, the rebate was eliminated for residential and other property and replaced by the Homeowners Affordability Tax Credit, but the School Tax Rebate for farm property remained protected. For the 2024 and subsequent tax years, farm property will continue to receive a 50% rebate on gross school taxes as a reduction applied directly to the property tax statement

This rebate is separate from and in addition to the Manitoba Farmland School Tax Rebate.
