What are your hours of operation?

  • Jobs on 9th is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please note that the office is closed from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm.
  • The office is closed on statutory holidays.

Do I need an appointment to use the services?

  • New clients are seen on a walk-in basis during office hours.
  • Feel free to walk-in at your convenience anytime between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (Closed from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm).
  • Our goal is to have you meet with an employment counsellor within the hour.
  • You can also call to book an appointment at 204-726-6220.

What do I need to bring with me to the office to meet with an employment counsellor?

  • Social insurance number and identification.

Is there a cost for services?

  • There is no cost or fee to attend Jobs on 9th.

Can I walk in to browse job search resources and use the computer/printer?

  • Computers and job search services can be used on a walk-in basis.
  • Printing resumes and cover letters is offered as a free service.

Do I have to use Jobs on 9th before I apply for EIA?

  • No, you can apply for Employment and Income Assistance at any time if you need money for basic costs like food and shelter. However, you must be found eligible to receive any benefits from EIA.
