NOTICE:
In preparation for a potential disruption in Canada Post Services, Families will stop sending all mail through Canada Post on May 15, 2025.
- Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) and Manitoba Supports for Persons with Disabilities (MSPD) cheques will be available for pick up at Families offices across the province. If you receive your benefits by direct deposit, you are not impacted.
- In Winnipeg, MSPD cheques will be available at 114 Garry Street. For all other communities, cheques will be available at the local Families office.
- Cheques are available from the EIA office that you receive services from. For those receiving services from Access Downtown at 640 Main Street, your cheques will be available for pick up from 128 Market Ave.
- If you require assistance in identifying your designated office, please contact the EIA Service Centre at 204-948-2888 (within Winnipeg) or 1-855-944-8111.
Essential mail, including cheques for trade vendors, service providers and income supplement programs will be available for pick up at distribution centres across Manitoba beginning May 27, 2025. Please visit https://www.gov.mb.ca/postaldisruption/ for more information and to find the distribution centre for your community.
