iMaQs
Manitoba's Integrated Mining and Quarrying System

***Information Notice***

The GIS Map Gallery and Integrated Mining and Quarrying System (iMaQs) map viewers utilize Adobe’s Flash software in order to function and display map data. Adobe will no longer be supporting Flash Player after December 31, 2020 and Adobe will block Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021. Most modern browsers will stop supporting Adobe Flash on January 1st 2020 and will be recommending that all users uninstall Flash Player to help protect their systems. The Map Gallery and iMaQs map viewers are currently being upgraded to an HTML5 based system in order to mitigate this issue.

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the GIS Map Gallery and iMaQs map viewer upgrades could potentially be delayed well into January. This means that users who upgrade their browsers and/or uninstall Adobe Flash prior to the upgrade being completed will no longer be able to access the iMaQs map viewers or Map Gallery until the upgrade has been finalized. If the upgrade delay extends past January 12th, both Map Gallery and iMaQs map viewers will be unavailable until the issue is resolved.

For more information regarding end of support for Adobe Flash, please visit https://www.adobe.com/ca/products/flashplayer/end-of-life.html

Service Interruption
iMaQs will be unavailable from 06:00 to 13:00 on January 3, 2021.
