The results of competitive bidding on November 6, 2024, for Crown oil and gas rights which was offered by Economic Development, Investment, Trade and Natural Resources resulted in a total of $14,399.43 being added to provincial revenue.
Thirteen lease parcels, covering 821.962 hectares (2,031.112 acres) were sold for a bonus amount totaling $6,322.56. The average bonus price per hectare for lease parcels sold was $5/98 per hectare ($14.79 per acre).
This is the fourth land sale scheduled for 2024. The next sale will be held on February 5, 2025. The deadline for posting requests is November 7, 2024.
