Overview

The Manitoba government is helping protect Manitobans from the impacts of global trade tariffs.

Through a three-year, $18.2 million investment from the Government of Canada, the Canada-Manitoba Workforce Tariff Response Program is designed to support workers, businesses and communities directly and indirectly impacted by tariffs, including steel, softwood lumber and other sectors.

The program's six pathways offer different types of support depending on a worker's situation, whether they are looking for a job, upgrading skills or exploring new opportunities, while also helping employers adapt, innovate and reach new markets so they can remain competitive.

Not sure where to start? Select the category that best describes you, Worker, Employer or Service Partner, to explore available supports or how to partner with the Manitoba government to deliver them.
