Vesting

1. What does "vesting" mean?
   "Vesting" means you are entitled to the full value of your accrued pension - meaning the value of your own contributions (if any), plus your employer's contributions.
2. When am I vested?
   The act states you are immediately vested for all benefits earned after July 1, 1976.
