Peter Bjornson's BioWelcome to the Manitoba Entrepreneurship, Training and Trade website. We are committed to growing industry, trade and employment in our province. We continually support skills development for students of every age and we have expanded tax credits to make it easier for businesses to hire students.  We also support a broad range of commercial businesses with programs and infrastructure that help them develop new ideas and bring them to market.

I am proud to say that Manitoba has developed an impressive reputation for innovation, quality, reliability and sustainability in the national and global marketplaces. Our goal is to continue to help Manitoba business enhance and expand that reputation.

We are proud to support all aspects of commerce in Manitoba in many different ways, including:

  • providing active leadership in developing and maintaining a skilled labour force
  • engaging all stakeholders (employers, educational institutions, community groups and workers) in developing training opportunities that support and expand Manitoba’s economy
  • working with private industry and entrepreneurs to meet mutual economic goals
  • encouraging and supporting local, national and international trade opportunities

This site offers easy access to a wealth of information about programs, services and opportunities that will help you start, develop or expand your business and hire the people you need to make your business ventures succeed.
