NSERC helps Canadian companies compete in today's economy by jointly funding collaborative R&D projects with scientists and engineers in universities across the country.

NSERC cost-shared-cost programs:

• allow companies to lever their research dollars
• link companies with skilled and knowledgeable people
• provide access to international technologies, knowledge and expertise
• facilitate the transfer of new technologies to industry
• provide access to specialized facilities and equipment
