Manitoba Hydro is the province's sole electrical utility. Its power supply is generated primarily from renewable and clean sources of energy: 14 hydroelectric stations.

  • Manitoba Hydro is planning capital investments of approximately $15 billion for major new generation and transmission projects over the next 10 to 15 years. These projects will serve the growing needs of Manitoba customers and will ensure a stable, reliable and cost-effective supply of electricity long into the future.

  • Manitoba Hydro’s new energy-efficient corporate head office in downtown Winnipeg was recognized by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat as the number one office tower in North America with regard to design, quality of space, urbanism, sustainability and energy efficiency.
