Policy and Program Development

Policy and Program Development develops, updates and co-ordinates policy and legislative changes for the Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) Programs, including 55 Plus, Manitoba Child Benefit and the RentAid. The Employment and Income Assistance Administrative Manual provides information on current policy.

This area is also responsible for the development policy and legislative changes for all of the Rewarding Work Initiatives.
