Appendix VI - Evaluation and Work Training

This section provides a brief description of the referral process, the services provided and enrolment procedures of four organizations from which a range of Evaluation and Work Training Services are purchased.

The four centres from which Services for Persons with Disabilities has agreed to purchase services:

  2. Employment Preparation Centre Inc. (Winnipeg)
  3. Sair Centre of Learning (Winnipeg)

Services for Persons with Disabilities have defined the services that may be purchased as Job Counselling & Placement Site Development (Placement), Work Assessment, Work Training and Follow-up Services (refer to Section 133 for a description). Each organization may provide all or some of the services identified.

The services purchased from each organization are identified in the descriptions that follow. It should be noted, however, that each organization may be providing a broader range of services and may have other financial resources available to provide the services not directly purchased by the marketAbilities Program.
