The following statistics are compiled from daily and weekly reports submitted by the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) to Manitoba Health.

²  The count of admitted patients awaiting a medical bed includes all patients regardless of where they are waiting.  A small number may be waiting in the hallway and, if so, will be included in that data as well.

³  There are also patients awaiting admission to surgical and psychiatric beds--generally between zero and six patients on a daily basis.  These patients are not included in the above data for 2000 to 2008, which are for "medical beds" only.

⁴  The average for All Sites may differ from the sum of the individual hospital level data broken down above due to rounding.

⁵  Pan Am Urgent Care "Total Visits" was introduced in the "All Sites 2005 Total Visits" in March 2005.
