Project Development and Implementation
The development and implementation of projects is most effective with a local climate change action plan. As priority projects and activities are identified for the plan, consider how the project will be delivered:
- Who are the partners and what are their roles?
- What are the purpose and objectives of the project?
- What needs will the project fulfill in the community?
- What are the anticipated outcomes of the project? (Ex. GHG emissions reductions, cost savings, local job creation, accessibility for seniors)
- What activities are required to implement projects from the plan? Include a timeline with start and end dates for critical activities, and roles for each partner.
- How will the outcomes be measured, monitored and reported?
- Where are the funding and/or resourcing opportunities? Consider financial and in-kind support.
- What is the budget?
