Manitoba Planning Excellence Awards
The Manitoba Planning Excellence Awards acknowledge individuals, organizations, companies and Manitoba planning authorities (municipalities or planning districts) for their efforts to enhance communities through innovative and high quality land use planning initiatives.
The Awards, which occur every two years, promote outstanding planning practice that supports the implementation of sustainable development principles within land use related planning activities in Manitoba. Up to three Awards are given and the jury reserves the right to recommend Honourary Mentions. Nominations must meet all of the Award conditions outlined in the Application Form.
To nominate a project for recognition in the 2009 Planning Excellence Awards, anyone may submit an entry on behalf of themselves, or another individual, organization, company or planning authority. To do so, please complete the application form below and send the package to the Community Planning and Development Division. Award winners will be announced at the 2009 Manitoba Planning Conference (TBA).
