Composites Innovation Centre - the newly established Composites Innovation Centre facilitates new product development in composites and helps close the gap between research and commercialization. The CIC is involved in an ever changing mix of projects with numerous industrial clients, government agencies and educational establishments, including Boeing Canada Technology Winnipeg Division, Dow BioProducts Limited, National Research Council - Institute for Aerospace Research (NRC-IAR).
Food Development Centre - located in Portage la Prairie, provides state-of-the-art facilities for applied research and development for the food, beverage and feed industries. Clients can develop and produce new food products and processing technologies in its federally-licensed pilot plant. Resources and services include: Pilot Plant, Product Development, Process Development, Nutritional Labelling, Regulatory Affairs/HACCP, Library and Information Services, Educational Services.
Manitoba Industrial Technology Centre (ITC) - provides a wide range of advanced technical services to enable companies to improve their products and processes. ITC clients include companies from various industrial sectors, along with federal, provincial and municipal government departments and agencies.
Virtual Reality Research and Innovation Centre - is a state-of-the-art facility housing some of the most advanced visualization hardware and software available in the world today. The Centre allows manufacturing and other industry sectors such as civil, architectural, urban planning, design, and medical, to visualize complex datasets within a virtual model or immersive environment.
Vehicle Technology Centre (VTC) - is a non-profit corporation, led by an industry board, which has a mandate to promote the development of a world class vehicle and transportation equipment cluster in Manitoba. The VTC was created by Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) and the Province of Manitoba to strengthen bus manufacturing in Manitoba.
