Domestic violence is a workplace issue that needs better understanding!

CUPE Locals 2348 and 2343 have made arrangements to facilitate a session to help us all better understand and deal with domestic violence in the workplace and the community!

Luncheon to celebrate the annual Human Rights Commitment Award of Manitoba and the Dr. Sybil Shack Human Rights Youth Award.

This year the Commitment Award will recognize the work of individuals or organizations that have advanced, through their innovative approaches, the rights of new immigrants to Manitoba.

The deadline for nominations is November 6, 2009. For more information on the award criteria, you can contact the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, The Manitoba Association for Rights and Liberties or the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
