An SYAO Financial Incentive is now available for SYAO participants who transition into a full time post-secondary apprenticeship training program following graduation from their high school studies anytime on or after January 1, 2010. The incentive will provide an exemption from tuition fees for one or more levels of technical training, depending on the number of on-the-job training hours accumulated through the SYAO program.

Apprenticeship Completion Grant
Service Canada announces new $2,000 Apprenticeship Completion Grant for recently certified journeypersons in designated Red Seal Trades, who complete their training after January 1, 2009. Applications are being accepted as of July 2, 2009.
