An abundance of industrial land in Manitoba is located within short distance of the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport and national railway facilities.
Proposed creation of CentrePort Canada, a private sector focused corporation
will develop and promote Manitoba's inland port and build on the province's
well-established network of air, rail, sea and trucking routes. A designated
area in the vicinity of James Armstrong Richardson International Airport would
serve as a transportation, trade, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing and
logistics centre.
