Company Profile:
Manitoba Pork Council is the provincial association of hog producers. The producer organization develops and delivers a variety of universal swine programs on behalf of its members. An elected body of delegates and a 14-member Board of Directors, pledged to serve the interests of all Manitoba hog producers, guide its activities. Manitoba Pork Council is regulated under the Manitoba Farm Products Marketing Act.

The Pork Council is committed to excellence in the delivery of universal programs such as quality assurance, environmental stewardship, animal care, human resources, production research, promotions, consumer education, public affairs and international market development. Producers support these programs and services through levies charged on market hogs, export breeding stock and export weanlings.
