The department promotes the Alberta Advantage and markets Alberta internationally as a desirable location for investment or businesses, in addition to marketing Alberta's exports and company capabilities. This is accomplished by:
- Providing information to companies and individuals who may be interested in expanding or locating in Alberta .
- Providing competitive intelligence, market information and knowledge to support companies in identifying and accessing marketing opportunities within target markets .
- Facilitating business contacts
Increasing awareness of Alberta and its companies' capabilities in targeted primary and secondary markets.
