This mission, organized by Canadian Private Sector Liaison Officer (PSLO) Network, will focus on Social Sectors: a look at Projects in the Education and Health sectors at both the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank at their headquarters in Washington, DC.

- education and technology;
- vocational education and training;
- public/private partnerships
- administration of the education systems and the role of the public sector;
- preschool and early childhood, and alternative delivery modes to reach excluded populations
- HEALTH conditions in Latin American Countries, epidemiological changes, risk factors and their social determinants;
- health and the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs);
- health sector structure and performance;
- lessons learned from Bank projects;
- IDB priority interventions in health, monitoring and evaluation issues.
