The mission of Business New Brunswick (BNB), the province’s economic development department, is to stimulate economic growth for a more prosperous province. BNB is tasked with building New Brunswick into a leader in economic development with a goal to attain self-sufficiency by 2026. This will be accomplished by improving productivity and innovation, creating sustainable jobs, developing new products and new markets, increasing value added processing, strengthening export capacity, reducing regulatory burden, encouraging capital investment and developing new technologies. The PSLO mandate falls within the Export Development division of BNB.
