  • Call the McPhillips numbers first and ask for an emergency delivery of 10 lbs of dry ice pellets with the delivery address and specific instructions and where they will meet them.
  • Dry ice PPE is available by the freezer for handling the dry ice into the thermal shippers.
  • The Nairn location emergency contact numbers are included in case there is no answer at the McPhillips location.
  • The freezer temperature alarm threshold is set to have 5C of play before it becomes an excursion. This allows for approximately 2 hours of time to get the dry ice on site and packed into the shippers with the vaccine.
  • Praxair has stated that they can have dry ice on site in 1-2 hours. The 2 hours is if weather is extremely poor.
