Climate Change in Southern Manitoba AD 1400-2000

 

Tree-ring estimates of changes in annual precipitation at Winnipeg since AD 1400.
The flood history of the Red River (upper right) is derived from instrumental, historical and tree-ring  evidence and shows floods with magnitudes equivalent to that of 1950 and larger.
