Youth Apprenticeship Programs

Get a head start on your apprenticeship program while in high school. The High School Apprenticeship Program and Provincial Accreditation through High School are two program options that offer dual credit which means that you can get credit towards your high school diploma AND credit towards your post-secondary apprenticeship program.

High School Apprenticeship Program

The High School Apprenticeship Program (HSAP) is all about on-the-job experience with an employer. HSAP provides practical, paid, work experience and credit towards your high school diploma. The purpose of HSAP is to provide an opportunity for early entry in the trades and build interest with youth. Upon graduation, students are able to transfer their hours of HSAP on-the-job training to a Level one apprenticeship training program.
