NOTICE: Postal Disruption Update
As Canada Post workers have shifted to rotating strikes, effective October 21, 2025, there may be a change to how you get your cheques.
All vendor, landlord, service provider and income supplement program recipient cheques, including Rent Assist, 55 PLUS, Manitoba Prenatal Benefit, and Manitoba Child Benefit, are being mailed via Canada Post.
How to get your cheques:
Manitoba Supports for Persons with Disabilities (MSPD)
- In Winnipeg: 114 Garry Street.
- All other communities: your local EIA office.
Employment and Income Assistance (EIA)
- If you receive services at Access Downtown (640 Main Street, Winnipeg): pick up at 128 Market Ave.
- All other Winnipeg-based EIA recipients: pick up at your local EIA office.
- All EIA recipients outside Winnipeg: pick up at your local EIA office.
Trade vendors, landlords, service providers and income supplement program recipients
- All cheques will be mailed via Canada Post.

Request and Justification Forms
The Disability and Health Supports Unit (DHSU) follows current partner program policies and legislation to determine eligibility for medical supply/equipment and diet requests. All requests must be completed by a health professional using the following forms:
