Children’s disABILITY Services (CDS) remains available to support children with disabilities and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic, by adapting our services to follow current public health measures. Read the current edition of our COVID-19 bulletin.

  • CDS has now resumed in-person visits for case management, early intervention child development and autism services. Remote services are still available by telephone or videoconference.
  • CDS staff remain available by telephone and email. Families are encouraged to reach out to their community services worker for help navigating and accessing CDS and other services. For help finding the phone number of CDS staff, contact your regional office.
  • Families should cancel services like respite and employment support if any member of their household has symptoms of COVID-19 or potential exposure to the virus.
  • Autism Outreach/St.Amant Autism Programs Parent Information Sessions are now delivered by videoconference. Registered families will be contacted with details on participating in an online session.
  • Equipment and supply deliveries continue to be made by the Materials Distribution Agency (MDA). Contact MDA at 204-945-2105 or 1-800-561-8313 with delivery-related questions. Requests for disability and health supports continue to be accepted at the Disability and Health Supports Unit.
