Developing More Affordable Seniors' Housing

Request for Proposals

Manitoba is joining with community partners to meet the housing needs of our seniors.

Manitoba Housing has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for community partners who want to develop new, affordable rental and co-operative housing for seniors with low-to-moderate incomes.

Financial assistance from Manitoba Housing is available to help offset the capital costs of the development of new affordable seniors’ housing.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDING

Due to the volume of Proposal Development Funding (PDF) applications received to date, beginning on April 30, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. CDT Manitoba Housing will no longer accept PDF applications that target affordable seniors’ housing.

As a result of the increased demand for PDF, Manitoba Housing cannot guarantee a decision on submitted PDF applications in advance of the Request for Proposals for the Development of Affordable Seniors’ Housing (dated February 20, 2014) submission deadline.
