bike riding

Years ago the "Moonlight Special" trains brought visitors to this resort town on the shore of Lake Winnipeg. Now families are rediscovering Winnipeg Beach as a terrific place to celebrate summer. On a hot day, see the sights, stroll the boardwalk, and catch the same cool breeze which sets the windsurfers skimming across the water.

Park Directions

Leaving Winnipeg, travel north on PTH 8 for 45 km/28 mi., turn right at PR 229 drive 5 km/3.1 mi. to Winnipeg Beach.

Where to stay

The new campground offers 120 full service sites and buddy sites for families and friends who want to camp together.
