Community Health Status Assessment in Creighton and Flin Flon
In addition to the human health risk assessment, a community health status assessment was completed for Creighton and Flin Flon by public health officials from Manitoba Health and Healthy Living and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health. A community health status assessment examines the overall health of a population and compares that health status to that of other residents in the same health region and residents throughout the province.
The following is the presentation made by public health officials in Flin Flon November 19, 2008 and the fact sheet that was provided to residents attending that meeting.
