Service Standards
To ensure transparency and accountability, the following service standards have been established for the processing of permit applications:
Standard Processing Times
Annual Blanket Permits (no approvals required): 1 business day
One Move Permits
• Permit Office Review & Issuance: 1 business day
• Internal Approval (GVW ≤ 100,000 kg): 2 business days
• Internal Approval (GVW > 100,000 kg): 10 business days
• External Approval: 5 business days
Note: External approvals may apply to applications exceeding 4.6m high, 31m long and 4.6 m wide (or 3.7m wide depending on the route).
These timelines represent target service standards under normal operating conditions. The goal is to process at least 70% of permit applications within our service standards. Applications that are incomplete or require additional review may take longer to process.
