Hazardous Waste Generator Registration e-Form

The department has simplified the process of registering as a hazardous waste generator by going digital!  Now, registrations can be completed online.

This transition allows for the following:

  • Completing the form has never been easier with the inclusion of drop down menus, informative descriptions of fields built right into the form, and fields that are completed automatically once previous fields are entered.
  • Multiple intuitive options to accurately enter the operation location address including an interactive map with a drag-and-drop pin.
  • An option to send your confirmation number to your email.
  • A 100% digital process will mean no chance of paper forms being lost in the mail.
  • The design of the form is intended to reduce the likelihood of errors.  This will reduce or eliminate the time it takes for the program to reach out to you for clarification and updated information.  This means you will get your registration quicker!

The department will be implementing a system to track key performance indicators of this process to ensure we are delivering the best possible experience for our clients.  A short survey will be released along with the new e-form that will gather feedback on our service and the effectiveness of the e-form.  This feedback will help to improve the e-form and the overall service provided.

The department will continue to accept forms until December 31, 2021. After that, registrations will only be accepted through the e-form (alternative versions will remain available upon request).  Submissions made through the e-form will be prioritized for processing so that responses can be received faster.

If you have any questions regarding the new E-form, please contact the hazardous waste program at hazwaste@gov.mb.ca or 204-945-7086.

If you have recently submitted a generator registration application using the e-form, please consider taking 5 minutes to complete a short survey.  In this survey you can rate your satisfaction with our service overall, rate the simplicity and effectiveness of the new e-form, and suggest ways we can improve our service. Your feedback is vital as we look to continuously improve our services.
