To complete your apprenticeship and earn your Certificate of Qualification, you must pass a certification exam that tests your knowledge of the scope of your trade. This is the same exam that trade qualifiers must take to earn their journeyperson status.

For some trades, your certification also includes successfully completing a practical exam.

Apprentices will receive information from their technical training instructor about the schedule and content of the certification exam.

There are also a variety of resources available to help you study, as well as information for those who need accommodations.
