The Hudson's Bay Company Archives (HBCA) has set up several online finding aids to assist researchers find records and order microfilm. Records may be consulted in the Archives Research Room, on microfilm through our Microfilm Loan Program or in published collections of records. Researchers will also want to search Keystone for descriptions of records, administrative history information and location codes and microfilm number for specific records.

What follows here is a reference tool that will allow you to find:

• some of the records held at the HBCA, with descriptions of the kinds of documents available; and
• location codes and microfilm numbers (where applicable)..

Records are listed by type and volume number, referenced against the microfilm reels on which they are available (if they have been microfilmed).
