Cabinetmakers produce furniture, cabinetry and architectural millwork from a variety of natural and manufactured materials for both commercial and residential markets. Cabinetmakers use traditional and modern tools and techniques to produce high quality and other wood specialities, including staircases, doors, furniture, moulding, joinery, veneers, inlays and laminates.

Furniture manufacturers, construction companies and custom cabinet shops all employ cabinetmakers.
