Asessippi Provincial Park

Western Parks

Bohemier House

Hear the wind whisper as it wafts down over the meeting place of two ancient river valleys. Over the meadows of mixed-grass prairie, dotted with crocuses and wild roses, through the aspen forests and across the waters of Lake of the Prairies, its song tells of the Assiniboine, Cree and Anishinabe people who lived along the Assiniboine and Shell Rivers. Hear the wind whisper Asessippi the next time you're looking for a new park to discover.
