Whiteshell Fish Hatchery Interpretive Centre

From eggs to fingerlings, Manitoba Fisheries ensures our fish futures every day. Visit our Hatchery Interpretive Centre to learn how the hatchery works towards a sustainable future. Park Interpreters will greet you in the centre and answer all your questions. 

Park Interpreters offer tours of the hatchery operations are at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. however you can drop by anytime during open hours to discover our fish stocks and how the hatchery operates.

Located on PR #312 between West Hawk and Caddy Lakes. Admission is free.

2018 Interpretive Centre Hours

Spring Hours (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Open May Long Weekend (Friday May 18 through Monday 21)
Open Saturdays & Sundays from May 26 through June 24

Summer Hours (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Open Thursdays to Sundays (and holiday Mondays)
June 28 through August 6.

The Interpretive Centre closes for the season August 6.  Tours are still available for organized groups – please contact the Senior Park Interpreter for details.
