Trails Conditions & Advisories

Updated June 29, 2022

Trails users in all parks can expect wet conditions in low lying areas.  Please report any significant maintenance concerns to the local park office.


Advisories & Closures:

Please respect all closures.  Do not cross barricades.


Beaudry Provincial Park
  • The Oak, Wild Grape and Elm trails are CLOSED due to overland flooding.
Nopiming Provincial Park
  • Fire of 83 Self-guiding Trail is not accessible due to the road closure on PR 314 between Manigotagan River and the junction of PR 304.  Check www.manitoba511.ca before travelling to the park for road conditions.
Spruce Woods Provincial Park
  • Spring Ridge Self-guiding Trail has a closed bridge halfway around the trail due to floodwaters.  Trail remains open for in-and-out access only; do not attempt to cross the bridge.
Whiteshell Provincial Park

Road closures are in place in the park due to flooding. Check www.manitoba511.ca before travelling to the park to plan your route and potential detours.

  • Hunt Lake Trail CLOSED due to flooding.
  • Bear Lake Trail is CLOSED for construction.  New boardwalks and trail surfacing are expected to be completed in late 2022.
  • Caddy Lake Tunnels and the backcountry campsites above Lamprey Falls on Winnipeg River are closed.  Travel not recommended above Lamprey Falls.
