What's New

There are a variety of ways to direct market your food products.  All methods are based on the principles of maintaining a connection and relationship between producer and consumer.  To guide, in plain language what direct marketers need to consider, the Direct Marketing Your Food Products booklet has been developed to explain regulatory requirements including clarifying the terms for collaborative marketing ventures. 
 
To Pack or Not to Pack?  Many food entrepreneurs partner with contract manufacturers, or co-packers, to help manufacture their food product. Manitoba Agriculture has developed a Co-Packer List  and a Using a Co-Packer Factsheet to help you start your search. 
 
Successfully selling your product to grocery stores requires having an eye-catching one-page fact sheet about your product.  Manitoba Agriculture has created a sell sheet guide that provides you with all the details and inside tips you can use to create your own shell sheet.
